Barth has been working in IVF associated treatments as an embryologist since 2009. He has a deep and intimate knowledge of both the problems and the potential solutions for infertility. He has helped many struggling couples all over Southern Africa to reach their dream of becoming parents. This brings him great joy and fulfillment.

Mr Barth Tambwe - Embryologist
After completing his Master’s Degree in Assisted Reproduction in 2007, and having gained HPSCA registration to practice as an embryologist, he went on to run two independent laboratories in Rustenburg. This was followed by the establishment of his own practice in 2014 which is known as Repro Lab and he consults as an independent embryologist. Repro Lab is an andrology laboratory and gamete donor agency. This is where egg and sperm are taken care of, including egg donation.
Since September 2019 he was involved with other team players in establishing Family Matters IVF laboratory for which he is a resident embryologist.
With so much experience and passion in the laboratory aspect of Assisted Reproduction Technologies, we are excited to have Barth partnering with us to help our patients on the journey to parenthood.
